We have supported 107 families whose children have sadly lost their battle with cancer through our Celebration of Life Grant. This September, a team of mums, dads, grandparents and friends is walking for every single one of them.
From 9 to 11 September, our walkers take on 107 kilometres, from Shellharbour to Sydney Children's Hospital in Randwick, the most used oncology hospital for children across NSW and the ACT. One kilometre for every family we've carried through the hardest days of their lives. They're putting in the training now. What they need from us is behind them.

Every step is
for someone.
107 kilometres is a long way, and that's the point. Every step is deliberate. Every step is for someone. Our walkers carry these families with them from the moment they set off in Shellharbour to the moment they reach the hospital doors in Randwick, walking in remembrance, in gratitude, and in hope for the families still fighting.
Each evening, a guest speaker joins the group to share their story and carry the group into the next day's challenge. Along the way, our walkers move as one team, sharing the load, the stories and the strength it takes to finish something this big, together.
WHY WE WALK

A GOAL WITH REAL IMPACT
What $8000 Means
We ask each walker to aim high because $8,000 is close to what it costs to fund a Celebration of Life Grant, the support that carries a family through the unimaginable loss of a child. Every donation, whatever the size, moves a walker closer to funding that support for the next family who needs it.
